Burton boss Gary Rowett’s has warned his players they have a game on their hands when they play Exeter City at St James's Park on Saturday (3pm).

Last season it was honours even with the Grecians running out 3-0 winners at home, whilst the reverse fixture at the Pirelli Stadium saw the Brewers 4-2 winners; courtesy of goals from Michael Symes, Marcus Holness, Jacques Maghoma and Lee Bell.

Rowett toled the Albion website: "We go down on the back of two wins and that's important; Exeter isn't an easy place to go.

‘We actually played really well there last season for the first 30 minutes and were the team with all the possession and chances but the more we attacked the more we seemed to open up spaces for them so we’ll look to put in a more resolute performance.

“Exeter are a good team and will make it difficult but we’ve been good away from home; we’re really looking forward to going down there because we’re in good form."
