The biggest match at the Crown Jewel PPV was undoubtedly the championship match between Seth Rollins and "The Fiend". The match resulted in a surprising outcome that turned tables for the blue WWE brand. As "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt won the title from Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel a couple of weeks ago, it was for the first time in its history that the WWE universal championship was being represented and defended at the company's blue brand.

After the transfer of the title to WWE SmackDown, fans began to speculate a new Universal Championship Belt. During the time when the Universal Championship was being represented at WWE Raw, it was bright red. Fans expected the belt to undergo a change in its accent color as it was currently being held by the blue brand. But these were not conformational enough since there was a great possibility for the belt to stick to its red hue considering Wyatt's signature color is red.  But WWE decided to go with the simpler and more logical decision by making the title blue. It was in spirit to make the Universal Championship more thematic.

In the most recent airing of the Firefly Funhouse where the new Universal Champion Bray Wyatt challenged Daniel Bryan for a match. But Bryan refused, and he instead challenged the Universal Champion for a title defense at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series 2019. 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt graciously accepted the challenge.

During the edition of the Firefly Funhouse, Bray Wyatt also revealed the all-new Universal Championship belt. In the video, Bray staged an amazing theatrical act. He spun around and turned into a magician. And like the magician, he transformed the title into a new blue version, in lieu with the blue brand.

WWE took to its official Twitter handle and posted:-

"YOWIE WOWIE! "The Fiend" @WWEBrayWyatt sure is a magician! #SmackDown".

Upon debut, the red universal title was heavily criticized. But for some reason, whatever it may be, the blue one surprisingly looks nicer. And by applying a thematic approach for the Universal Championship belt, WWE has surely made a good decision. They have also made the strap a bit darker for the blue than it was for the red. This not only makes the color contrast better but alas makes it look nicer and less objectionable to the eye.
