Live music fans are set for another celebration of amazing entertainment in the Devon countryside as TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham confirms its return for 2026.

Following its debut outing at the historic country estate this July, which saw headline performances from Duran Duran and Basement Jaxx, Live Nation’s Cuffe and Taylor are now planning for a bigger and better event next summer with plans to unveil the first 2026 headliner in the coming weeks.

A new campaign has been launched to help raise awareness of child sexual exploitation (CSE), modern slavery and violent extremism in Devon.

The Be Curious campaign, developed by the Safer Devon Partnership aims to raise awareness of the issues and uses short animations to highlight potential signs of modern slavery, CSE and violent extremism.

The Safer Devon Partnership is a county-wide strategic partnership which brings together a range of stakeholders who all play a key role in enabling the people of Devon to feel and be safe in their homes and communities.

New Cranbrook trail officially opened

A new walking and cycling trail in Cranbrook has been officially opened.

The “Cranbrook Discovery Trail: Long Orchard” has been developed by Devon County Council, East Devon District Council, Cranbrook Town Council and Cranbrook New Community Partners Consortium to encourage residents to explore their local area.

A Dawlish man has shared his own experience in support of a national campaign promoting participation in health research.

Cannabis seized during farm drug bust

Police in North Devon have seized around £250,000 worth of cannabis following execution of a warrant in North Devon last Friday (10th February).

Acting on local intelligence, officers from the Force Support Group (FSG), along with support from the local policing team executed a warrant to search a farm north of Okehampton.

Police discovered an underground, purpose built cannabis factory and seized equipment and cannabis with a street value of around £250,000.
