Jehovah’s Witnesses will be hosting their annual convention entitled: “Don’t Give Up” in many major cities around the world. The public is invited to attend this three-day event, which is free of charge.

This convention will include interviews, demonstrations, and videos aimed at inspiring all attendees to not give up hope, but continue to endure during difficult circumstances. Between 9.30pm and 9.50pm on Saturday (24 June) near to the lawn on Brunswick Place in Dawlish, a 32 year old local man was assaulted which resulted in a serious wound to the neck.

The Exeter and East Devon Breathe Easy group has donated two brand new Pulse Oximeters to the Respiratory Outpatients Department at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital to help support patients who have lung conditions.

The new pieces of portable equipment will be used both at the RD&E and out in the community to monitor patient’s oxygen saturation levels.
