In July EX2 Group was proud to support Building Greater Exeter’s Work Experience Week, an inspiring initiative aimed at introducing Year 10 students to careers in the built environment.

Devon veterans can now apply for life-changing mobility support

Devon veterans with mobility issues attributable to their service are now able to apply for support from the reinstated Veterans’ Mobility Fund (VMF).

Administration of the life-changing fund was awarded to Help for Heroes and Blesma by the Office for Veterans’ Affairs (OVA) and the Armed Forces Covenan t Trust Fund in September, 2023.

The VMF is a central fund, awarded by the OVA, to support veterans with physical disabilities through grants to enable them to access mobility equipment that improves their quality of life.

Local bus operator Stagecoach South West announced changes across their regional bus network. Bus timetables across Devon will see improvements to offer customers a more reliable and punctual service.

Tesco shoppers in Exeter have a golden hour this Saturday (16 March) to win a share of half a million pounds for their local school or a community group that supports children.

As part of the supermarket’s Stronger Starts campaign, between 12 noon and 1pm, shoppers in the Exwick Express store can take a lucky dip to find a gold version of Tesco’s famous blue voting token.

Resident, Alyson, at Cumberland Grange who has a huge love for animals, had a dream of seeing a parade of dogs. So staff were set upon the mission to make it happen and reached out to the local Pinhoe community and beyond to help.

Alyson has lived at Cumberland Grange for over two years and is beloved by staff and residents alike. An Exeter-based junior football team have secured a £1,000 donation from a local developer.

Persimmon Homes South West – also based in the city – awarded the grant to Stoke Hill AFC Under 9s after an application came from Ryan Cumner, a senior surveyor with the business and a dad to one of the team’s players.

Gemma Shepherd at Michelmores Solicitors in Exeter is encouraging people to consider the risks of not having a will in place following new research revealing nearly half of UK adults aged over 30 who don’t have a will say it’s on their to-do list, with 43% saying it’s been on their to-do list for more than 12 months.
