The Chairman of Exeter-based Burrington Estates has been awarded an MBE in recognition of his outstanding service to the construction industry.

Peter Andrew, who is also Deputy Chairman of the Home Builders Federation, was recognised for his achievements in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list. The A377 between Queen Elizabeth Drive and Higher Road Crediton is to be closed for foutr weks in order to stabilise the carriageway edge and resurface a cracked section of road.

The scheme is due to commence on 15 January 2018 and will continue for approximately a month (weather dependent). The road will be closed 24hrs a day but could be re-opened sooner subject to favourable conditions.
