Cranbrook to Host First eat:Festival Food and Drink Event

eat:Festivals will be hosting a food and drink festival in Cranbrook on Sunday 13 September 2026.

The festival will be happening in the heart of the town, on and surrounding the Tillhouse Road. eat:Festivals are a small social enterprise who have been delivering one day food and drink festivals in towns across the south-west for over 13 years. Lord Mayor thanks Exeter Philharmonic Choir for its fundraising

Members of Exeter Philharmonic Choir, which has recently raised money for the Lord Mayor's charity SSAFA Devon, attended a special reception and cheque presentation at the city’s Guildhall last week.

The event was to thank all the organisations who have contributed to a grand total of over £23,000 for SSAFA Devon, which provides practical and emotional support for serving personnel, veterans and military families. A collection held at Exeter Philharmonic Choir’s concert in March raised £726.66 for the charity.

Topsham residents and visitors can look forward to the reopening of the popular Devon Air Ambulance Vintage & Variety charity shop in Fore Street this Saturday.

The shop’s planned refit was negated when excess water forced the shop to close its doors last winter.

If you go down to Princesshay, you’ll be in for a big surprise. Bring your teddy bears along, all shapes and styles, and learn about clinical trials.

The cuddly toys will demonstrate clinical trials to children and families on International Clinical Trials Day.

The Exeter Clinical Research Facility (CRF), will have stalls in Princesshay shopping centre on 20th May 2019 between 9.30 and 16.30, to show how clinical trials work and the benefits of them.
