Two signs for a speculative high-end housing development in St Leonards were removed on Tuesday after they were repeatedly defaced by graffiti. Teignbridge District Council are encouraging members of the public to have their say and get involved with a Review Group looking into the new Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) which came into effect on 1 April 2019.

Luxury housing estate developer, Burrington Estates, made clear its intention to build on a St Leonard’s playing field on Wednesday.

Surprising local residents, it placed large signs advertising its “Homes of Distinction” around the field, opposite the main road junctions.
