Experts from the University of Exeter and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery (RAMM) are celebrating the start of a major new partnership.

Staff from both institutions will collaborate on research and organise exhibitions and events to showcase RAMM’s world-class collections.

They have signed an agreement so they can continue to work together to promote knowledge and understanding, using RAMM’s artefacts and the university’s academic expertise.

More than 50 companies and organisations from across the South West will be exhibiting at the Exeter Jobs Fair at Exeter Corn Exchange from 11am until 2pm.

Fish in the River Exe can swim easier upstream now a fish pass has temporarily been extended. Except during times of heavy flow, salmon and trout have been unable to get beyond Trews Weir in Exeter after the water level dropped more than a metre when part of nearby St James’ Weir washed away.
