Youth Hub Devon works to help young people aged 16-24 to get the right training, support, and guidance for their future. The service has already helped over 150 young people into employment or training, and the Youth Hub provides a space that allows young people to truly explore their employment and training options.

Councillor Rufus Gilbert, Devon County Council Cabinet Member for Economic Recovery and Skills, said: “I would encourage all young people aged 16-24 who are looking for work or training to consider attending this event. A range of businesses and organisations will be available on the day to discuss routes into employment and the opportunities they may have, and it could set you on a new career path. Youth Hub Devon is playing a vital role in helping young people improve their job prospects and this school leavers event is another good example of the support they’re able to provide.”

Tom Moodey, Youth Hub Support Officer, said: “Young People leaving school might be seeking advice on what their options might be, whether they have made the right choices, or looking at their next steps. The school leaver events provide a range of options available to young people, including apprenticeships, different industries they might consider, education options, and support for those who might need some additional help into employment, or training. We look forward to welcoming young people to the event.”

You can let the Youth Hub Devon team know that you are interested in the event.
