Unexpected drama in the Cathedral
Exeter Cathedral’s own Cathedral Players are busy rehearsing their production of 'Ring Round the Moon' by Jean Anouilh.
The show is an adaptation by Christopher Fry subtitled ‘A Charade with Music’ and described as a little puff-ball of a story, a bubble from a glass of champagne twinkling in the fairy lights of a Winter Garden. The performances take place within this year’s Unexpected Festival.
The Cathedral Players were formed in 2008 and have subsequently put on plays within the Cathedral itself, including T.S.Eliot’s Murder in the Cathedral in 2012.
Performances of Ring Round the Moon are on 19. 20 and 21 September at 19.30.
Tickets are available from The Visitors’ Office 01392 285983 or online from www.exeter-cathedral.org.uk/boxoffice.
