Two Local firms join forces to prepare for cold front
Marsh Barton Security Services (MBSS), a local security company, and Vospers of Exeter have joined together this afternoon in readiness for the possible repeat of the snow we had a year ago.
MBSS has been serving the area for over 30 years, providing alarmed response and mobile patrol amongst other security services. “When providing such a vital service in the local area we have to plan ahead” comments Marcus Di-Vincenzo, owner of MBSS.
“Myself and Paul Matthews, Head of Marketing for the Vospers Group are both ex-Military so we understand we have to be ready for anything.
"Our normal patrol cars will have snow chains, which should do the job, but we have joined with Vospers and are using their fantastic Ford Ranger Wildtrack, the ultimate tool in times of snow.
"We have over 300 clients that rely on us 24 hours a day to react to business alarm systems should there be an activation. We patrol the whole of Devon, specifically Exeter and the surrounding area with three patrol cars and tagging systems.
“MBSS have been patrolling our premises for a long time and we really do sing off the same song sheet when it comes to local business serving local business” says Paul.
“Our off-road range will keep MBSS mobile through this forthcoming weather front, as it has for many of our customers. it is refreshing to know that a company really do what they say they are going to do.
"The cold front and threat of snow is muted to be upon us through the night and the patrols will not only be checking premises but also salting car parks. Lets just hope its not too severe!"
