Tickets go on sale today for the Devon County Show

Tickets go on sale today (Tuesday 5 March) for the biggest variety show in the county calendar. Everything from Dancing Diggers to ‘orange elephants’ and fabulous local food and drink will be at the Devon County Show on May 16 to18 at Westpoint, Exeter.

Making this spectacular event even more family-friendly, a ‘Kids go free’ promotion is available for up to three children (aged between five and 15 years old) when accompanied by a paying adult on Saturday.

Advance tickets offer savings off the on-the-day prices including a special offer for senior citizens (aged 60 and over) of just £17 for two tickets purchased in advance of the Show.

The 118th County Show is the curtain raiser for the agricultural showing season in the South West as well as a great day out for all the family.

More than 95,000 visitors are expected to flock into the showground for an entertaining and informative day experiencing all aspects of farming and country life.

Among the highlights of the Show will be the Diggerland Dancing Diggers Stunt Team and BMX display team ‘Savage Skills’.

The County Show is hosting the two prestigious national cattle shows for South Devons - affectionately known as ‘orange elephants’ because of their long noses - and Dexters, which are small and black.

This year tickets bought online are instantly downloadable and will be scanned at the entrance to the showground.
