Three generations of miniature donkeys settle in at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park

A grandmother, mother and daughter from the same miniature donkey family are enjoying life at Devon’s Crealy Adventure Park following a move down from Warwick. The Mediterranean breed of miniature donkey moved to Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park where they’ve been meeting families visiting the Animal Kingdom as part of their day out.

Grandmother Gillian aged 22 years old has a 9-year-old daughter called Glamour Girl who recently gave birth to the third generation of the family, Nina, whose just 12 months old. The three of them are inseparable and when they’re not enjoying strokes and pats from visiting children and adults alike, they graze within the Crealy grounds with space to run around.

Ali, the Animal Kingdom Supervisor at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park said: “They’re very gentle animals and we’re delighted they’ve joined the animal family here at Crealy. They have settled into their new home and are enjoying attention from visitors, particularly as they are so much smaller than a regular sized donkey.”

Devon’s Crealy has over 200 animals at the Park including everything from cute bunnies and lambs to mischievous meerkats and even Wallabies and alpacas! Children can groom, pet and ride the ponies. Fun for the whole family with parents able to lead their child’s ponies too.

Animals have always been at the heart of Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park since it opened in 1989. The multi-award-winning park now boasts over 100 acres of fun and attractions providing the perfect day out for the whole the family! With over 60 rides and attractions including the newest additions The Safari Express and Jungle Wars, 75,000 sq ft of undercover play and outdoor adventure areas and Summer Soak Zone, there is something for everyone!
