Theatre toasts sponsorship deal
Exeter Northcott Theatre celebrated its recent sponsorship agreement with Browne Jacobson with a canapé and drinks reception.
Exeter Northcott Theatre’s Chair of the Board of Trustees Lady Studholme welcomed representatives from Browne Jacobson, theatre trustees and key members of the management and theatre production teams to a private drinks reception held in The View before guests enjoyed a performance of Craig Gilbert’s adaptation of Jerome K Jerome's classic tale Three Men in a Boat.
The year-long sponsorship deal with the national law firm will make a valuable contribution towards the ENCORE fund which supports the work of the theatre.
Exeter Northcott Theatre’s Chair of the Board of Trustees Lady Studholme said: "We were delighted to welcome Browne Jacobson to Exeter Northcott Theatre this evening - we had alot of fun!
"Their contribution to the ENCORE fund is a significant endorsement for the Theatre from the local business community. At a time of change and challenge for all regional theatres, their support lights the way for integrating business and culture for mutual benefit.
"We greatly look forward to working together to bring the wide range of shows on offer over the next year for the benefit of our growing city of Exeter."
Mark Fowles, partner at Browne Jacobson’s Exeter office added: “We are thrilled to be supporting such a vital part of Exeter’s cultural life and look forward to working with the Northcott over the next 12 months in helping it to maximise opportunities for the region’s audiences to see creative and inspirational theatre.”
