Support for Rock Pool Cafe owners

The owners of Rock Pool Cafe, which was severely damged during a blaze on Saturday 26th April, have been inundated with messages of support and offers of help and donations on it's Facebook page.

One user wrote:

"I saw the devastation this morning and am so sad. You had made such a lovely cafe there, you will be very much missed."

 Whilst another commented: "This is so very very sad. I would gladly contribute to a fund to rebuild."

Owners of the Dawlish beach hut cafe Debbie and Don Holman thanked their supporters personally on their page. However, they also made a sad announcement that the Cafe will be unlikely to re-open.

They said: "Unfortunately we must tell you that because of the nature of the building and it's location it was uninsurable and so is a total loss."
