Police appeal after robbery in Tiverton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Tiverton on Saturday 22 July 2017.

The incident took place just after 1.30pm at ‘Cash 4 Clothes’ on Leat Street in Tiverton.

A male offender entered the premises holding a small blade and demanded money and then pushed the victim, a woman in her 40s, to the ground before making off with cash.

DC Jason Colcutt said: “This was a particularly vicious crime with the use of a blade shown.

“The man is described as white, 6ft tall, and was wearing black sunglasses and a distinctive brown jacket with light orange sleeves. This could have been an orange hoody with a brown body warmer over it.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in and around the area at the time of the incident.”
