Police appeal after daylight burglary

Police are investigating after a burglar struck at a Teignmouth house while the owner was at home.

The offender entered the property in Barnpark Road through the back door around 4.20pm on Friday 19 February.

The owner heard a noise and when she went to investigate she found her handbag was missing.

The bag contained an iPhone, a Panasonic Lumix camera and a purse with cash and cards inside.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen suspicious individuals or activity in the road around the time of the offence.
