Overnight closures planned for Rydon Lane and Countess Wear roundabout

A series of overnight closures are due to get underway at Rydon Lane and Countess Wear roundabout from Monday (12 October).

Work is due to start on the installation of a pedestrian crossing on Rydon Lane on Monday evening, with the road closed from 8pm until 6am weeknights until Monday 26 October.

The three remaining arms of the roundabout will remain open while this work is carried out. The roundabout and Rydon Lane will be fully open during the daytime and at weekends.

From Tuesday 27 October until Tuesday 17 November, all four arms of Countess Wear roundabout will be closed overnight from 8pm-6am for drainage improvements, resurfacing and pavement repairs. The roundabout will continue to be open during the daytime and at weekends.
