Staff at Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital have celebrated the hard work of nurses both at the hospital, and worldwide on International Nurses Day 2016.

Every day, nursing staff around the world go the extra mile for their patients. Nurses’ Day is a chance to say thank you.

A vintage-style afternoon tea party was held at the hospital for both nurses and support staff, as a small token of our thanks for the hard work and dedication of our nursing staff.

This day was chose to celebrate nurses as 12th May is the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale.  The theme for 2016 is Nurses: A Force for Change: Improving Health Systems' Resilience.

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital currently employs 59 Registered Nurses and 28 Healthcare Assistants, and is always recruiting for clinical roles on Wards, Theatres and Outpatients.
