Landslip causes delays to First Great Western Trains

Update: Following an earlier landslip between Exeter Central and Exmouth all lines have now reopened.

Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be delayed by up to 10 mins or revised at short notice. Disruption is expected until 11:30 29/01.

Earlier: There are currently delays to First Great Western services due to a landslip, which is causing disruption near Exeter Central.

The National Rail website is currently reporting "... delays of up to 40 minutes between Exmouth and Exeter St Davids. These delays are expected to last until approximately 11:30am."

South West Trains are no longer affected by this problem.
