Jewellery stolen in Dawlish burglary

Police in Dawlish are appealing for information following a house burglary in the Town.

The incident occurred between 12.30pm and 1pm on Wednesday 3 February at a property in Plantation Terrace, Dawlish.

Entry to the property was gained via a rear conservatory window and once inside and following a search, jewellery was stolen from a bedroom.

A witness recalls seeing a man on the driveway of the attacked property at the material time.

He is described as being a white man, aged in his 20s – 30s, 5ft 9in tall, medium / stocky build, with short dark grade one haircut.

He was wearing circular dark coloured glasses, a green bomber type coat with fur hood, red checked lumber style shirt and a white t-shirt underneath, grey track suit jogging bottoms and white trainers.

He walked with shoulders hunched over.

A white ford truck was also seen parked up near-by, with a white man sat in the driver’s seat and accompanied by a Jack Russell dog.

He is described as having long blonde hair tied in pony tail.
