Free music lessons in Exeter

Musicroom Exeter is supporting national Learn To Play Day, with free music lessons at the store on Saturday 21st March.

The annual event, run by the Music for All charity aims to encourage everyone to ‘Learn To Play’ a musical instrument.

Musicroom Exeter will be holding a series of free digital, guitar and samba taster workshops on Saturday 21st March at its store at 154 Sidwell Street, Exeter, Devon.

Local guitar teacher Rupert Mcdonald from the ‘Exeter Guitar School’ will be offering the following lessons on the day of the event:

10.30am – 11.30am - 2 lesson x 30min, Guitar Lessons for Beginner Players
11.30am – 12.30pm - 2 lesson x 30min, Guitar Lessons for Intermediate Players
13.30pm – 16.00pm - 5 lesson x 30 min, Guitar Lessons for Advanced Players

In addition Sam Fisher will be running a range of ‘Digital Music’ workshops:

10.30am – 12.30pm - 2 lesson x 60min, An Introduction into Basic Recording Techniques
13.30pm – 15.30pm - 2 lesson x 60min, Guidance on Midi and Synthesizers
16.00pm – 17.00pm - 1 lesson x 60min, Guidance and Help with Ableton Live/Logic Software

While Scott Craig from the "Exeter School of Samba", will be adding a bit of spice to the event by offering attendees a Sambsa focused workshop between 12.30pm–13.30pm.
