The theme of Refugee Week 2015 is ‘celebrate’.  Refugee Support Devon has an exciting week planned as part of a national programme of events to celebrate the contributions of refugees to the UK and to promote a better understanding about why people seek sanctuary.

“Refugee Week is a fun series of events that not only brings the plight of refugees to the public conscience, but really does help to build a culture of understanding and acceptance in the community,” says Peter Skelton, OBE, who is a volunteer at the drop-in service at Refugee Support Devon.
