Come and see us in the VIP Lounge at the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink for exclusive offers and the chance to win prizes.

Exeter Golf and Country Club is sponsoring the VIP Lounge at the three day event which celebrates the food and drink producers, suppliers and restaurants of the South West, especially Devon. The VIP Lounge offers complimentary refreshments, comfy chairs, mini spa treatments and the chance to meet the team from the club and have a go on some of the gym equipment.

The festival, which is growing year on year returns to Exeter Castle and Northernhay gardens for the eleventh year and will welcome over one hundred artisan food producers from across the region bringing with them their finest food and drink for visitors to stock up on during the three day event from 25th – 27th April. The VIP area was introduced last year as a haven of peace amongst the hustle and bustle of the festival. Festival-goers pay a premium to access the VIP area which features complimentary drinks from local wine producers, meet and greets with chefs and other exclusive treats.

Exeter Golf and Country Club have sponsored the festival because it’s an event which their own members enjoy visiting. The club who have invested heavily in improving the food and drink offering for their members and guests in the club’s restaurant, café and bar share the festival’s passion for great quality, local produce. In fact, the club’s Sports Bar is currently closed for a refurbishment to provide members with a facility which is modern, fresh and bright.

The club and Exeter Festival of Food and Drink will be launching competitions in the coming weeks to win tickets to the festival and guest days at the club, including lunch, use of the indoor and outdoor pools and gym.

Chris Jones, General Manager of Exeter Golf and Country Club said, “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Exeter Festival of Food and Drink and we are looking forward to meeting everyone in the VIP area. We have a great relationship with Michael Caines, strengthened by our hosting of the South West Chef of the Year Awards in the autumn. We are passionate about really good food and drink and understand that they are central to the success of any hospitality business. Given our location within a county of such bountiful produce it is especially important to support events and organisations to celebrate that, such as the Exeter Festival of Food and Drink.”
