For the 12th year running, Exeter Phoenix are inviting people to take part in a free 48 Hour Film Challenge. No previous filmmaking experience is needed – just a good imagination and a camera. Teams will be given a theme, a prop and a line of dialogue before setting off on their mission. The challenge will take place between 9th-11th November.

The challenge is part of Two Short Nights Film Festival, Exeter Phoenix’s annual celebration of all things short film. Completed films will be screened at the festival on Friday 30th November and are in with a chance of winning two festival awards.

If you think you and your friends could plan, shoot and edit a film in just 48 hours, you can sign up for free by visiting the Two Short Nights website: http://www.twoshortnights.com/48-hour-film/. Registration closes on Wednesday 7th November, so be sure to sign up before then. Team can be any size, but must include someone who is over 18 years old.
