Community performances and shopping galore as the countdown to Christmas continues

Visit Princesshay each late night Thursday until the 20 December where you’ll find the shops open until 9pm, community performances and a fun festive atmosphere!

This Thursday 13 December Exeter Footlights Theatre will be entertaining shoppers in Princesshay Square from 5-7pm with a taster of their upcoming new show Copacabana. Local hero Kirstie Tancock will also be in the centre from 5pm – 8pm to promote the ‘Live Life Then Give Life’ campaign which aims to raise awareness of and increase education about organ donation.
 

More festive fun comes in the form of Heart Exeter’s ‘Angels’ who will be on site giving shoppers the chance to win £250 of Princesshay Shopping vouchers as well as offering visitors the opportunity to take part in a fun, quirky and free Christmas picture which can be taken home as festive memento – if you’re lucky you might even have your picture taken with the Exeter Chiefs! Team member from the Exeter Chiefs will be in Princesshay spreading Christmas cheer from 6.30pm – 8pm.

To continue the yuletide atmosphere, the activity continues into the weekend with pupils from Bovey Tracey Primary School carol singing from 10.45am on Friday 14 December. Saturday plays host to a fun filled timetable including Exeter Guitar Group from 1pm-3pm, King Alfred School Flash Mob from 12 -1pm, St Loye’s Foundation Christmas Charity Auction from 3pm and to top it all off the Round Table are bringing a Christmas Sledge! To round off the weekend nicely, the Salvation Army Band will be entertaining shoppers from 2.15-3.30pm on Saturday 15 December.
