The British Academy of Floral Art are excited to announce that one of their top tutors, Amanda Randell-Cox, has just received Gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show for her stunning exhibit inspired by ‘British Blooms’.

Amanda absolutely excelled at Chelsea this year and picked up the 'Best in Show' award for her category!

She has previously been awarded Gold for her outstanding pieces of floral art but as they had changed the criteria this year she wanted to prove that great floristry can also be sustainable.

Her masterpiece this year stood as a celebration of 21 years spent at Hotel Endsleigh; gathering flowers from their beautiful gardens and arranging them in the front hall to greet guests. Amanda was excited to get stuck into sustainability and made her design entirely out of environmentally friendly materials and used British grown flowers.

Amanda is also a very well respected Wedding Florist and has worked at the Academy as a tutor since 2011; she truly is a master in her field and one of the top designers around today.

If you’d like to book onto a floristry course and be taught by one of the British Academy of Floral Art’s Master Tutors then headover to their website and start your floral journey!
