Busy 2015 for South West RAFA veterans

In 2015 the South West Group of the National Service (Royal Air Force) Association celebrated its tenth anniversary.

During the anniversary year a varied programme of activities was enjoyed by members - from guest speakers and trips, to ceremonial occasions.

Among the former were talks on the Devon Freewheelers and the development and demise of Concorde, together with entertainment from Mick Groves, formerly of The Spinners, at the Christmas buffet.

Participation in ceremonial events included the Armed Forces Day parade in Exeter, attendance at an association annual gathering at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, and representation at the Cenotaph in London on Remembrance Sunday.
