The Big Thank You Cream Tea

The Big Thank You Cream Tea for children’s workers from all over Devon was a big success.

The tea party was held in the Bishop’s Palace garden and everyone who works with children in the Exeter Diocese was invited.

The main message, from diocesan children’s work adviser, Katherine Lyddon, was that although children are small the Mission is big!

Katherine thanked everyone for their significant contribution to this important work. Artwork, flags, balloons and a bubble machine added to the party atmosphere. Children’s workers were pleased to be recognised, enjoyed hearing from Katherine and shared tips on good practice.
