Appeal after Olly Murs lookalike assaults man in pub

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in an Exeter pub by another man who was described as looking like pop star Olly Murs. The incident took place at around 10.50pm on Wednesday 12 September in The Imperial pub in New North Road. There was an altercation between two men and when the victim tried to intervene the suspect punched him to the floor and then kicked him to the face. The 25-year-old victim from Bolton suffered a fractured eye socket and bleeding to his eye in the incident. Police have released a description of the suspect (pictured) as follows: 5ft 8in tall stocky build, wearing purple buttoned shirt with white spots dark hair with side parting and looking like Olly Murs.
