Exeter's star of hit show The Voice is preparing to play a special gig in his home town this weekend.

Adam Isaac launches his debut album at Exeter's Phoenix Theatre on Saturday.

The singer-songwriter, will then embark on a tour which will take in gigs in Bristol, Southampton, Leicester and London.

Adam has over 10 years' experience as a gigging musician and built a strong southwest following in his earlier years.

He has played many venues and festivals around the UK, supported Joss Stone on her UK tour in 2009, has been named brand ambassador for British freesports lifestyle brand Animal, and in 2012 Adam made it to the quarter final stages of BBC’s The Voice UK with the legendary Sir Tom Jones as coach.

Adam said he was looking forward to the shows and added: “For me, music is all about sharing energy with an audience; not being pretty around the edges, but going out there and capturing a moment with other people.”

Tickets for the Phoenix gig are £6.50 in advance, £8.50 on the door (standing) and you can contact the box office on 01392 667080.

Doors open at 8.30pm.
