Exeter Racecourse partners with ELF to launch Festive Gifting Programme
Exeter Racecourse is delighted to announce a new partnership with The Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) for ELF Raceday, taking place on Friday 5th December 2025.
Through this collaboration, ELF and Exeter Racecourse will launch a special gifting programme aimed at bringing joy to children and families supported by the charity during the Festive season.
Exeter Racecourse will support ELF’s work by gifting toys to children who are patients or family members affected by blood cancers and blood disorders. Racegoers, owners, trainers, jockeys and the local community are being encouraged to donate gifts from an approved list to the racecourse ahead of the raceday on December 5th.
ELF provides specialist services including transport to hospital appointments, accommodation near treatment centres, counselling, financial and legal support, and equipment for the Haematology Centre at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. With more than 3,000 people in the South West diagnosed with blood cancers each year, ELF’s support is vital to those navigating complex treatments and care.
Gary Moore, Development Manager at ELF, said: “The partnership with Exeter Racecourse opens up a unique opportunity to raise awareness of this important work and to deliver a tangible uplift to patients and their families at a time of year when comfort, joy and community matter most.”
Jack Parkinson, General Manager of Exeter Racecourse, said: “At Exeter Racecourse we’re passionate about supporting our local community wherever we can, and this Christmas felt like the perfect time to partner with ELF.
“We’ve already received a number of donations from our partners, and racegoers to the gifting programme and we know that will increase over the coming weeks. We’re looking forward to delivering the presents in December to bring a bit of Festive joy to the patients and staff.”
