Yoga for Children in Exeter

Exeter’s first Yoga for Children classes have now been launched.

There are 4 types of yoga classes designed specifically for children from aged 2 – 16 years old.

Parent and toddler yoga (aged 2-4 years, yoga cubs (3-7) yoga bears (8- 11) and yoga for teenagers from age 12 +. Yoga for children have also set up new innovation family yoga classes where families and children can practice yoga together.

Yoga is fun, it helps with concentration, it improves coordination and balance, it is a great way to build confidence and keep children fit and healthy.

It can help children keep calm and can reduce stress and anxiety caused from exams or other pressures.

Yoga can be practised by children of all ages and abilities. The yoga classes and postures are modified to suit each child’s needs and abilities.

Yoga for Children’s classes are specifically tailored for each age group and include postures, yoga games, partner yoga, creative stories and music. Yoga is suitable for everyone including children.
