This February half term, head to The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth and find out which adoption donkey has the loudest bray, the longest ears, or who is the most playful, in the Adoption Donkey Top Trumps Trail.

Follow the trail around the sanctuary to find the giant Top Trumps cards and discover which adoption donkey comes out on top in each round. This exciting family activity is a great way to explore the sanctuary, combining fun, exercise and brainpower.

Set in the heart of the rolling East Devon countryside, The Donkey Sanctuary has something to keep everyone entertained, and the February half term is the ideal time to get outdoors with friends and family and explore the sanctuary.

There are daily talks, scenic walks, engaging exhibits, award-winning gardens, and of course, hundreds of adorable donkeys to meet.

When it’s time for a break, the Taste of the West award-winning onsite restaurant, ‘The Kitchen’ is the perfect place to take sanctuary. Breakfasts, lunches and tempting afternoon treats are served daily, alongside unrivalled views of the Weston valley to the sparkling sea beyond.

Before heading home, visit the Gift Shop to pick up a donkey-inspired gift or souvenir, including The Donkey Sanctuary’s very own version of the popular Top Trumps game. Every purchase helps the charity support donkeys and mules in greatest need in the UK and across the world.

The Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth is open seven days a week, from 9am to 4.30pm. Entry to the sanctuary is free, as is parking, and dogs on leads are welcome.

The Adoption Donkey Top Trumps Trail runs until 31 March. Each trail costs £5.00 and includes a prize on completion.
