A primary school in Exeter were able to hold their colour run following sponsorship from a leading developer.

Persimmon Homes South West were delighted to donate £500 towards Ladysmith Infant and Junior School’s event organised by the school’s CPTT (Children Parents Teachers Together) group that saw dozens of children able to get colourful and messy, receiving a medal at the end of the race.

Tamsin Saunders, a sales progressor for the company, was able to present the cheque at the school’s Summer Fair.

Persimmon is developing the multi-phase Ashworth Place and Hill Barton Vale sites only a few miles away from the school, where hundreds of homes have been built to meet local housing need.

Stacey Harris, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes South West, said: “We were delighted to help Ladysmith Infant and Junior School with their Summer Fair and Colour Run – it is really important for Persimmon to help out with community events like as we’re building homes for local families after all.

“Our latest phase at Hill Barton Vale has just sold out, demonstrating how popular the area is – no doubt, for those families with young children or hoping to raise children there, because of their proximity to Ladysmith School.

“Persimmon considers itself a responsible and conscientious developer which is why we are happy to sponsor events like this summer fair and regularly contribute to worthy organisations through our Community Champions initiative.”
