Age UK Exeter, Princesshay’s charity of the year, has launched its charity raffle of a new smart forfour car to raise money for local people. Tickets can be purchased from the centre with the draw being held on Christmas Eve.

Luke Yetman, General Sales Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Exeter said, “It is a privilege for Mercedes-Benz of Exeter to be associated with Age UK Exeter.  The work they do in the local community makes a real difference to those that they support and I sincerely hope that we can raise a significant amount of money in partnership with them this year.”

Wayne Pearce, Princesshay Centre Director said: “We are delighted to host the charity raffle on behalf of Age UK Exeter. Age UK Exeter is a brilliant local charity and it is an absolute pleasure to be working with such a great team.”

In January, Princesshay announced that the team will be volunteering hours to Age UK Exeter as well as working with the charity throughout the year on special events and fundraising activities

Age UK Exeter is a local charity serving local people and is part of the Age UK family. Each year Age UK Exeter connects with over 5,000 older people and directly supports over 1,000 older people every week. It delivers over 30 services and activities across the city weekly and is supported by over 250 volunteers.

Martyn Rogers, Age UK Exeter’s Director said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to increase awareness in the city of the difference we make to quality of life of local older people whilst raising much needed funds to support our work. We are indebted to Princesshay and Mercedes Benz and hope lots of people will try their luck for the dazzling Smart Car forfour.”
