Hospiscare coffee mornings: Another double duccess

Hospiscare are delighted to announce that two more of the celebrated local charity’s coffee mornings have proven very successful. 

Little MarVals Preschool in Pinhoe held their Hospiscare coffee morning on 30th September. The school which caters for children aged 2-5 years, invited mums and dads and the local community to a parents’ coffee morning at the United Reformed Church in Pinhoe.

Children and parents enjoyed cake and browsing toy stalls and sharing their work with the community. An organist also played and at the end of the day,

Little MarVals raised £125 for Hospiscare.

Huge thanks to the ladies of the church and Little MarVals team for helping on the day.

Willowbrook School PTA, Beacon Heath also held a coffee morning after school for children and parents on the same date and raised an amazing £400 for Hospiscare.

“We’re very pleased with how these two events turned out,” said a Hospiscare fundraiser.

“They really do demonstrate how something as simple and to some extent fun to organise as a coffee morning can nevertheless prove a very effective fundraiser securing lots of the money for Hospiscare which we need to provide the consistently high levels of care we have become known for.”

Hospiscare is a local charity, providing free, high quality care and support to people with a progressive life-limiting illness, and those close to them in Exeter, East and Mid Devon.
