The theme for this year’s all-female Twilight Walk on Saturday is “Back To The '80s”. And one group of Girls (who) Just Wanna Have Fun will be the assorted group of vets and administrative staff from Corner House Vets in Exmouth. They will also receive support from a very special friend: Ella the Owl, the event mascot! No doubt, she’ll be hoping for a performance of the Birdie Song!

In fact, as Jo Mason Managing Director of Corner House Vets confirms, they have entered a team for the walk for the last two years.

“We’ve been practicing veterinary healthcare for 32 years,” she says. “We always like to do a number of things to help local charities every year. The Twilight Walk is ideal as we feel it is something we can do as a team together. It’s not only a fun and sociable walk but something which anyone can do regardless of their level of physical fitness, especially as there are now both five and ten mile walks. There’s no need for any awkwardness or embarrassment. It’s just fun and in a great cause.”

The Twilight Walk is a 5-mile or NEW 10-mile themed sponsored walk along Exmouth Seafront with entertainment provided all along the route. The walk starts from The Maer, Exmouth on Saturday 8th July. Sign up for the Hospiscare 2017 Twilight Walk today by calling 01392 688000.
