Charity's Magical Mystery Tour a big success

Almost 50 Dream-A-Way guests took part in a magical mystery tour on Wednesday 16 September alongside volunteer, Mike Rock, and his team from Friends of Dream-A-Way Sidmouth.

Guests were overwhelmed with generosity when treated to teas, coffees and cakes during their first stop at Marine Public House and Beckett’s Coffee Shop which sit on the Sidmouth sea front. Dream-A-Way were also thrilled by the generous donation given by The Marine.

Following some retail therapy and sight-seeing, the group travelled along the East Devon coast to award-winning spot, Ladram Bay.

There, the management team ensured the group enjoyed a delicious home-made lunch of cottage pie and jacket potatoes followed by young magician, James, entertaining and amazing the guests.

Many happy faces headed back to Exeter wondering just where the Dream-A-Way 2016 Magical Mystery Tour will be taking them and with very fond memories of a great day out seeing beautiful East Devon.

Guest, Lizzy said: “We can’t thank you enough for a brilliant day out with Dream-A-Way. Everyone was so cheerful. The food was excellent and it was a real treat being waited on. We are all looking forward to the next Dream-A-Way Mystery Tour.”
