Exeter’s Fore Street Flea Returns for 2025

May is here, and with it comes the much-anticipated return of the Fore Street Flea. Now in its ninth year, this iconic market has become a firm favourite in Exeter’s cultural calendar, drawing crowds to the heart of the city’s West Quarter for a day of discovery, community, and celebration.

First launched in 2016 as a grassroots initiative by local traders, the Flea has grown into one of Exeter’s most loved community events. Now delivered by InExeter, the city’s Business Improvement District, the Flea continues to support small businesses and showcase the creative spirit of the West Quarter.

Nicola Wheeler, CEO of InExeter, shared her enthusiasm ahead of the May market:
“As Exeter’s Business Improvement District, we’re proud to bring the Fore Street Flea to life. Set in the city’s vibrant indie quarter, the Flea is more than a market—it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and local spirit. Powered by passionate businesses, buzzing with fresh talent, and loved by loyal visitors, it’s a firm favourite in Exeter’s cultural calendar.”

Visitors can expect an eclectic mix of stalls, offering everything from vintage treasures and pre-loved clothing to handmade crafts, original art, and delicious food and drink. Live entertainment and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere make the Flea a perfect way to spend a Sunday in the West Quarter.

Each market has its own character and buzz, shining a spotlight on the very best of the West Quarter while creating a fun and welcoming experience for all.”
