More evidence that Chagford is a real star in the West Country firmament of creativity, is news that this delightful Dartmoor town is celebrating the 10th year of the ever-popular Wonderworks Arts and Crafts Fair. This exciting event has developed a reputation as a craft fair of distinction where savvy shoppers head for an enjoyable and fruitful pre-Christmas day out. You can discover a treasure trove of woodwork, glass, leather, jewellery, ceramics, porcelain, textiles, cards, lavender items and more. All the goods are beautifully displayed and handmade in Devon and you can have fun meeting the makers. You can even rest and indulge in tempting treats from Chagford’s Courtyard Café, available on site throughout the event.

Wonderworks takes place at Chagford's Jubilee Hall and runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, 15th December and 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday, 16th December. A public pay car park is available adjacent to the Jubilee Hall. However, parking is free on Sunday morning. www.visitchagford.com
