1. Use Your Travel Suitcase to Save Boxes

2. Use Large Garbage or Laundry Bags for Clothes
This could be a super genius hack that no one thinks about, large garbage and laundry bags can be used to slide your clothes in them that too along with the hangers. Put several clothes in one bag and tie a knot at the top so that the bag doesn’t slip down. This is trick would also save time in unpacking the clothes as all you will have to do is open the knot, take the clothes out and hang them in your new closet.
3. Use Household Items to Pack Kitchen Objects
Use washed or new socks to put fragile drinking glasses in it. Yes, you read it right, socks for glasses. Try this and you would be amazed because none of it would be hurt during the moving. Furthermore, use plastic wrap and wrap it around the cutlery and other dishes to protect them from scratches. Use kitchen gloves to put sharp knives in it in order to avoid injuries.
4. Prevent Doors from Locking Using a Rubber Band
During the shifting of cartons from house to the loading truck, the movers would be coming in and going out of a single room for multiple times and a locked door every time can annoy them. Use an elastic rubber band, wrap it around one of the doorknobs, stretch and cross it, push the lock inside and wrap a rubber band on the other doorknob. This prevents the door from locking over and over again and makes moving much easier.
