Some people get super excited when they think about moving into a new house whereas, some get scared of the entire energy-draining process that they would have to go through. 1. Use Your Travel Suitcase to Save Boxes 

During the process of moving house, there is an immense need for several storage cartons in which you can put your stuff to be transported. Cut the cost of a few boxes by putting some of your stuff in the travel suitcases. 

2. Use Large Garbage or Laundry Bags for Clothes 

This could be a super genius hack that no one thinks about, large garbage and laundry bags can be used to slide your clothes in them that too along with the hangers. Put several clothes in one bag and tie a knot at the top so that the bag doesn’t slip down. This is trick would also save time in unpacking the clothes as all you will have to do is open the knot, take the clothes out and hang them in your new closet. 

3. Use Household Items to Pack Kitchen Objects 

Use washed or new socks to put fragile drinking glasses in it. Yes, you read it right, socks for glasses. Try this and you would be amazed because none of it would be hurt during the moving. Furthermore, use plastic wrap and wrap it around the cutlery and other dishes to protect them from scratches. Use kitchen gloves to put sharp knives in it in order to avoid injuries. 

4. Prevent Doors from Locking Using a Rubber Band 

During the shifting of cartons from house to the loading truck, the movers would be coming in and going out of a single room for multiple times and a locked door every time can annoy them. Use an elastic rubber band, wrap it around one of the doorknobs, stretch and cross it, push the lock inside and wrap a rubber band on the other doorknob. This prevents the door from locking over and over again and makes moving much easier. 

5. Take Pictures 

There might be some corners of your house or room that you would like to set in the same manner in your new house as well. However, you can simply forget the arrangement of things while setting your new home hence, to make it easier, take pictures of the places that you want to be set in an exact way in your new house. 

6. Pack All The Stuff In An Organized Manner 

Everyone in the family should pack their things in separate cartons and label them so that things don’t get mixed up when a man with a van service load and unload them. Moreover, after moving into your new house, everyone can carry their own boxes in their rooms and unpack it. This makes the entire unpacking process pretty simple and less messy.
