Two North Devon greats have joined forces to create a weekend of motoring madness this August.

The newly renovated Highbullen Hotel, Nr Umberleigh, is a key sponsor of the first ever Castle Hill Car Festival, at Castle Hill House in Filleigh and, to help visitors from outside the region make the most of the weekend, Highbullen has put together a special two-night package on 2-3 August, which could cost as little as £58.50 per night.

The Festival (3-4 August) is a family-friendly event and features classic cars (including a centenary display of Aston Martins), stunt planes, helicopter rides, the Top Gear Experience, track sprint challenge and much more. It is set in the grounds of the stunning Castle Hill House, a historic Palladian stately home famed for its landscaped gardens which is just a 10-minute drive from Highbullen.

Highbullen has created a special Car Festival package for those travelling from a little further afield, or who wish to enjoy the whole weekend in luxurious surroundings.

The luxury hotel has recently undergone a £1.5 million renovation, and now offers some of the best rooms and facilities in the region. The package includes:

• Two nights’ accommodation (B&B) in a family room (up to four) or a Deluxe Double Room
• Three-course dinner in the Devon View Restaurant on one of the nights
• Tickets (for a couple or a family of four) to the Car Festival – worth up to £30

A family break for two nights is £469 (£117 per person) and for a couple is £309 (£154 per person). To book call 01769 540 561 or log on to www.higbullen.co.uk
