One of the town's major attractions is its church.The stunning Manueline door has provided the perfect backdrop for countless weddings. The center of town is easiest to navigate on foot. Consider parking your car at the edge of town and walking the rest of the way. Almost all of the streets eventually wind their way down to the riverfront. If you want, you can visit the marina and schedule a trip on a boat. If you prefer to explore on foot, you can also follow some of the paths that lead off into the nearby marshlands and mudflats.
