Bad news for Canadian anglophiles as the Canadian government suddenly declares several popular British foods unfit for sale. Lucky ice cream fan, Meryl Logan, has won a nationwide competition to have her own Ben & Jerry’s Core flavour made into a reality.

Meryl, a primary school teacher from Exeter beat stiff competition to see her creation, Toffee Apple YUM-ble - which packs apple and custard ice creams with crumble pieces together around a caramel core - be mixed by expert flavour gurus to her exact specifications.
