Crave, a well-loved independent restaurant from Exeter, is set to open its second restaurant in Bristol this spring, marking the next chapter for the growing brand.

Founded by Sameer Shetty, Crave opened on Exeter’s Quayside in summer 2024 and quickly built a loyal following for its welcoming atmosphere, all-day menus and focus on flavoursome food enjoyed without fuss. Chunk of Devon is celebrating after maintaining their crown as the UK’s tastiest pasty and pie supplier by scooping a further 10 awards from foodies at the Taste of the West Awards bringing their award tally to 88.

This wonderfully sunny weekend (29th – 30th May) saw The Shops at Dartington’s annual Food Fair back for its sixth year, and what a brilliant bank holiday weekend it was. Attracting a record breaking crowd, over 7,000 visitors flocked to the popular shopping destination near Totnes. Throughout the two days visitors were treated to the county’s fabulous food and drink producers and the opportunity to watch mouth-wateringly good workshops from Devon’s food and drink stars.

Hanlons Brewery celebrates double award

The team at Hanlons Brewery had reason to celebrate twice in April having collected two awards at this year’s Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival.

The Festival, organised by SIBA, and now in its 24th Year, showcases the best beers from all over the West Country and beyond. Hanlons’ Port Stout won a Bronze Award whilst newly bottled Stormstay won a Gold.

Having recently been finalists in both the Exeter Living and Express and Echo business awards the team are rightly proud of their performance.
