Warrens launches new artisan bread range

Craft Bakers’ Week (28th September – 3rd October) will see Cornwall’s oldest bakery, Warrens Bakery launch a new range of delicious, artisan breads. Adding to their already comprehensive range of delectable savouries, tasty scones, sweet treats and regional speciality biscuits, the mouth-watering smell of the new, freshly baked bread range will be wafting through their stores, tempting the taste buds of customers.

Launching on Friday 2nd October, the new artisan range has been expertly developed by Warrens Bakery’s dedicated team of master bakers. Featuring nine tasty varieties, the hand crafted collection includes; Cornish Sea Salt and Black Pepper Tiger Loaf; Spelt Loaf; Light Rye; Italian Multi-Seed Sourdough; Italian White Sourdough; small and large Multi-Seed Sourdoughs and small and large White Sourdoughs. Available exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays, this exciting sourdough range is guaranteed to be extremely popular with lovers of baked goods.

Throughout Craft Bakers’ Week, Warrens Bakery will also be encouraging children to get creative and hands on in their stores across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. Proud of their heritage as one of the original artisan bakers in the United Kingdom, Warrens Bakery will be inspiring a new generation of bakers. On Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October, children can decorate and ice seaside themed biscuits including shells, seagulls and beach balls as well Warrens Bakery’s popular teddy bears and gingerbread men. Competitions to win a month’s supply of the new bread range will also be running on Warrens Bakery’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Recent recognition for Warrens Bakery’s hand crafted, sweet and savoury bakes has seen them selected as one of the top three craft bakers in the UK in the prestigious Craft Business Award in the Baking Industry Awards 2015. A national award, The Craft Business category gives the bakery industry the chance to acknowledge craft bakery businesses committed to customer service and product innovation. Warrens Bakery’s reputation for quality, friendly service and commitment to supporting the Cornish economy also saw them shortlisted for The 2015 Great Cornish Food Awards in the ‘Great Cornish Food On the Go’ category.
