Exeter’s popular summer pop up The Boat Shed is opening its doors again – this time for Christmas feasting.

The menu has been designed by Devon chef, Robin Rea of Rusty Pig, renowned for his commitment to great flavours and ethical ingredients.

Rusty Pig was voted the best in the county for Devon Street Food at this year’s Nourish Festival and dishes will feature locally sourced ingredients, served with a twist in the tail. They include Rusty Pig’s own charcuterie range, along with turkey and beef raised in the region and options for vegetarians using the very best of seasonal fare.

Robin said: “This is a really exciting opportunity to cook for Christmas revellers who want to enjoy something a little different in Exeter.

“The Boat Shed is exactly the type of venue I enjoy cooking at; quirky, edgy and just a little cheeky. It’s going to be great fun.”

Perfect for businesses wanting to treat staff or customers to an original festive experience with quality food and entertainment, The Boat Shed will accommodate parties of 40 or more.

Prices start from just £35 per person and with fine wines, festive cocktails and the chance to play mini golf on a bespoke made Exeter-inspired course, it is a go-to destination for lunchtime or evening celebrations.

Entertainment options include cocktail-making competitions, live music and DJs. The venue is located on Exeter’s atmospheric Quay and is part of the derelict Grade II listed Maclaines warehouses.

The ultimate aim is to transform the warehouse into a lively arts hub, and this year’s Christmas parties will be helping to raise funds to enable the transformation to happen. For more information visit bikeshedtheatre.co.uk/news/christmas-parties-boat-shed/
