When we say hand-leveled League of Legends accounts, we refer to accounts played by a real person without any third-party applications.

We have to note that account trading overall is ‘’forbidden’’ by the League of Legends developers RIOT, and that’s stated under their T&C. So...

Punters in the UK have fewer restrictions to navigate when placing sports bets or playing in casinos. This reality is because the UK has fairly lax gambling laws compared to other countries like America. Therefore, a lot of betting activities can legally take place. However, the UK's gambling industry is still regulated to keep players safe. The Gambling Act of 2005 was the first major legislation to regulate betting since the 1961 legislation of off-track gambling and betting shops. The Act was established to regulate all types of gambling, minus spread betting. The Gambling Act also...

Frequently asked questions about online slots

People often wonder how slot games were born. Some say they were invented by an ancient Chinese housewife who wanted to keep her husband busy.

Others believe that the ancient Egyptians were the first to play a game that looked similar to slot machines. We prefer to think of slot games as a more recent invention, which brings us to the era of video gaming.

If you're an adult, then you know what’s meant by ‘the good old 90s’. That's around the time when slot games were born. Similarly, today's technology has resulted in the advent of online slots games organised in a...

Across the globe, they go by many names: the slot machine or slots, the puggy, the pokie and even the one-armed bandit, but in the UK we know them most commonly as the humble fruit machine. And we’ve had a prevailing relationship with the little boxes of sound and light since their introduction over one hundred years ago—many Britons are in search of the best slot machine they can find.

A fruit machine, in its most rudimentary form, is a series of at least three reels which, when prompted by the player, spin independently from one another and come to rest each displaying one of...

New play co-created with people living in the South West shows long history of LGBT loneliness in the region

A new play co-created by people living in the South West shows the long history of LGBTQIA+ loneliness and belonging in the region.

Mistreatment and marginalisation from society has meant LGBTQIA+ communities have created their own spaces for solidarity, creativity, and dialogue.

The Beat of Our Hearts , written by South West-based playwright Natalie McGrath, will be staged as part of LGBT History Month in February.

Project lead, Dr Charlotte Jones from the University of Exeter, worked with organisations and individuals in the South West to develop and stage the...
